"Khimaira" is the classical Greek spelling of "Chimera" (pronounced kai-mare-a), the fanciful beast of Greek mythology that shouldn't exist. A fire breathing monster, with the head of a lion, body of a goat, and the tail of a serpent.

Aptly the album "Khimaira" is a powerful engaging beast, full of depth and complex invention, "The Melting Staircase" evocative of a wonderful surreal dream, "Reticular Activating System" a virtual soundtrack (an H.P. Lovecraft dedication, by the way), full of planar slabs of sound, clusters and fragments, it is vast and Kosmische. Disc 2 finds us leaving the ephemeral behind, and plunging into deeper, stark and menacing realms, with 4 tracks of which the titles speak for themselves.
