review...
Ever unpredictable, Endgame slipped through a time-warp into another
dimension with this one. By chance the sessions had a deep vibe, an
other-worldly essence and an almost filmatic quality about them. Retro
electronics meeting futuristic tonalities, with results that work on many
different listening levels. Perfect for a concept album then dedicated to
some of our favourite sci-fi series and movies. Quite out of character for
Endgame of this era really. From the submersible Nautilus, venture on - take
a trip to the Forbidden Planet with the C-57D - to everywhere in time and
space in an instance via the Heart Of Gold! Another one of those ideal
starters for fans of the more "cosmic" end of Endgame.
