More wonderful
crazed rock innovation. They're going quite out on a limb on some of this
one, sounding like no one else I can think of. Lots of very broken and weird
rhythmic elements, stochastic and jazzy edged rambles and many more
surprises, plus a few (as usual) in that now recognisable patent Ruin style
(hints of Metal Box era Public Image, some Krautrocky drives and Kosmische
sprawls, etc.) with occasional member Wilf adding some nicely off-the-wall
electronics too.
