Recorded at Tachyon Studio (tracks 2+7: 2 January 2003, the rest: 17 February 2003). Engineer: Alan Freeman.

Alan Freeman: guitar with Zoom effects, Korg Poly 800 & Roland SH-32 synths, Alesis Air FX, Roland GR-33 guitar synth, voice, cymbals, loops, etc.
Steve Freeman: bass with Korg ToneWorks and Zoom effects, guitar, loops, turntable, cymbals, Yamaha CS-5, Korg MS20 & Octave Cat synths.
Dave Powell: hurdy-gurdy, objects, effects.

An inevitable diversion, after Dave Powell played his uniquely electrified hurdy-gurdy with Endgame, resulting in the quartet Extremities. When Jim Tetlow (of Endgame) then went off on several long stays in Australia, Alan, Steve and Dave continued as Triax, a working unit that has flourished with dozens of releases since. As such "Musik Zu Arcana" is the primordial threshing ground of ideas attempting to find a new sound. Pure Triax, starting with "3 Bows & 23 Strings" it's the start of an exciting adventure that's led us musical realms even we never thought of until we did them!
