review...
An inevitable diversion, after Dave Powell played his uniquely electrified
hurdy-gurdy with Endgame, resulting in the quartet Extremities. When Jim
Tetlow (of Endgame) then went off on several long stays in Australia, Alan,
Steve and Dave continued as Triax, a working unit that has flourished with
dozens of releases since. As such "Musik Zu Arcana" is the
primordial threshing ground of ideas attempting to find a new sound. Pure
Triax, starting with "3 Bows & 23 Strings" it's the start of an
exciting adventure that's led us musical realms even we never thought of
until we did them!
