"Excessive kind of UFO era Guru Guru meets Metabolist, one
track pre-empts Acid Mothers Temple by a decade - sizzling!"
AMA - LOUDLIVEANDLUMPY (Poultry Productions PP 8) MC
†Brave guys AMA, determined to
be Britainís heaviest acid - "no we donít touch the stuff" - rock
band, they have here produced a real sizzler. Pure inventive "hot"
rock - a blast from the heyday of Guru Guru, Ash Ra Tempel, et al, yet
totally instrumental, with authentic live late-60ís sound: chunky growling
bass, thrashing drums, guitar lines that numb the senses. Hopefully, with the
resurgence of popularity in psychedelic rock, AMA will gain the recognition
they deserve - they can blast my speakers any time!
