DAVE POWELL - FRIED ROSIN Dave Powell I first met as a customer at the Ultima Thule Record Shop in the mid-late 1990s. Over a few years I got to know his taste in music and constantly introduced him to obscurities of what he once dubbed "the never ending well of 70s music". But, his taste was more than just prog, he liked experimental music too, and became a regular at Endgame concerts. During one of his shop visits he told me that he was seeking advice on how he should electrify a hurdy-gurdy. I suggested that he gets a cheap contact microphone and a Zoom guitar effects unit. And, he did precisely that, except he bought a more expensive effects unit than I suggested. Some months later, having practiced with his new toy, he asked if he could join-in at an Endgame gig.
