1. A Conflict Of Illusions 8'48"
The Children Of The Pit 9'12"
Nurse's Sense Of Duty 19'07"
A Scarcity Of Time Machines 24'12"

Recorded direct to digital at Tachyon Studio, 28 December 2009.
Transfer & premix 16 January 2010. Album mixes 18/19 April 2010.
Engineer: Alan Freeman.

Alan Freeman: laptop running Herc's Abakos virtual synth, virtual sampler (Mellotron, Ondes Martenot, effects), Tapeworm (flute Mellotron) and Sound Forge (rhythm/groove loops), Roland SH-32 synthesizer, electric guitar (played and bowed, with Zoom effects and Roland GR-33 guitar synth), bowed springboard, bells, etc.
Steve Freeman: analogue synthesizers (Korg MS-20, Moog Rogue, Octave Cat, Yamaha CS5), bowed 5-string bass, guitar, CD & tape loops, samples, rhythms & grooves, Portastudio, turntable (classical music), cymbal, acoustic CD, harmonica, voice, bells, other bric-a-brac, etc.
Dave Powell: flute, hurdy gurdy, bells, Zoom guitar effects/looping, etc.

Four sessions, truncated/remixed, amounting to what would be a 3-sided LP set! Apt for Triax of course. There seemed to be a sci-fi feel to this one, so I took Michael Moorcock's "The Hollow Lands" book and came up with titles Chris Conway fashion (well, kind of, some of my random page openings resulted in nothing useful) applying them to the tracks. Again this is Triax venturing on to new territory, a music rich with strange sound textures, spacey moments, plunges into weird cacophony, rhythmic phases, and crescendos of great power!

First edition (quantity not specified) - released ?/4/2010.
