Recorded live in Tachyon Studio, direct to digital 3 January 2011.
Master transferred 7 January 2011. Mixed by Alan 1 January 2012.

TRIAX...
Alan: laptop, guitar, keyboards, synths, etc.
Steve: tapes/loops, bass, bowed objects, analogue synths.
Dave: guitar, flute, bells, hurdy gurdy.

Whilst mixing this down, I soon became aware that this music had the feel of some bizarre horror film soundtrack. The first pointer was the surprisingly Alessandro Alessandroni like fuzz/distortion/wah guitar of Dave Powell featured on two tracks. There's also a recurring theme in parts, a few vignettes that pass like incoherent dreams. Of course it would have to be a very weird film to sport a soundtrack like this, not least the powerful near-on 22 minute "Song Of The Neurons" that kind of feels like a hybrid of Cyborg era Klaus Schulze and rasping raw Faust.
