The original AMACDR series comprised 12 CDRs documenting the best from many of the historic cassette releases from Auricle during the 1980's (all digitally remixed and remastered) adding up to a choice rarities collection. Some include rare previously unissued recordings, notably the Alto Stratus "Pantheon 1984" which was never properly documented before, all are remastered and/or enhanced for a quality and fine definition in sound impossible at the time. All these were presented with 6-fold poster inserts sporting surreal monochrome artwork by Jim Tetlow.

Many years later, we decided to make some other old archive releases available again, this New series is an ongoing project which may as yet yield more releases than just the five above. These lost gems from the vaults were logical contenders to add to the Archive, as special releases for the avid collector or historical researcher.
