MUSICI (Auricle
AMCDR 053) CD 75m At each "Improv Electronic
Night" Endgame play one set, followed by a Planet Scanners set, and then
there's the "big jam" of all six musicians playing together. The six [musician] tracks here are culled from two very long
impromptu improvisations, recorded live at The Musician pub, Leicester, 20
January & 3 August 2004. Missed out are the bits with accidental feedback
errors, and a couple of big chunks that (whilst fine in the live setting)
didn't really work for a CD release. Apart from that, the musical content was
kept as authentic as possible. And the music? Well, if you could imagine some
hybrid of Lightwave, Terry Riley and Between, riddled with lots of bizarre
sounds and effects, then maybe you'll be a little close to what this sounds
like. There's even a section that trips off towards techno spiced space-rock
that amazingly works! by Alan Freeman in Audion 50, page 15 (spring 2005)
